Why won't everyone leave me alone?
Let me die at home?
The way I want it to be.
Why did someone come for me?
Take me to a place
I don't want to be?
A place they call a "home".
It's only old age.
It's not like I've lost my mind.
It's just old age.
I might be old, but it's mine.
It's MY old age.
They never care to hear
what i have to say.
The things I saw, the things I learned
back in the old days.
They show such discuss
when I can't control my bodily functions.
I sense they can't wait
until I finally cross the junction (between life and death).
I only wish I could explain.
It's only old age.
I'm not playing a game.
It's called old age, and I know why.
They're afraid that someday
they'll realize their life may end just like mine...
someday.
Old age. They just can't face the fact
it's just old age and
you can't turn your life back (in time).
Old age....
It's embarrassing when your mind is so strong.
Yet your body can no longer play along.
That's when you realize...
It's just old age.... old age.
won't be long until you're gone,
and you are ready.
What's taken so long... to get home.

Today
Today. I woke up just before the sun went down.
Today. I was lucky just to find my way around.
Cause yesterday, I couldn't find a reason why
I shouldn't get drunk, and let life pass me by.
Today. I question why I'm alive.
Today. I wonder why God didn't let me die.
Cause yesterday, I decided it was time
to drink like I was down to my last dime.
Today. I stand here in the bathroom shower.
Today. I'm pissed cause I was too much of a coward.
Cause yesterday. I made the clear choice.
that I would not be here today. No longer a voice.
Today. I can't but wonder why.
Today. God! Why didn't you let me die?
Cause yesterday, I was so aware it was time
to drink like I was down to my last dime.
Today. I am alive. Damn! I can tear up this written goodbye.
Yesterday. I convinced myself no one would cry
knowing that I would not be here... today.
What could You have wanted me to do yesterday
so that You kept me alive until today?
Every day?
Today, I have to wonder why
I am here to write these words good-bye.
Knowing You won't let me die
cause everyday is yesterday. Not today.
Like "Groundhog Day".
Goodbye... Until tomorrow. Or is it yesterday. Or is it today?
Again.....
Today. I was lucky just to find my way around.
Cause yesterday, I couldn't find a reason why
I shouldn't get drunk, and let life pass me by.
Today. I question why I'm alive.
Today. I wonder why God didn't let me die.
Cause yesterday, I decided it was time

My Bestest Friend.....
So long Scooty
My Bestest Friend.
By God's will, I may see you again.
According to the "experts"
you don't remember me
Five minutes after I drop you off.
If that's the case, then it will never be
that I will see you again.
So long Scooty
My Bestest Friend
I'm sorry if I made you sick when
you visited me.
You almost died because of me.
I don't know how, but it was blamed on me (so I accept it).
So long Scooty
My Bestest friend.
I WILL see you again.
And no one then
will keep you and I from exploring again.
The woods and fields and forests.....
and the "Bestest Buddy-ship" we knew as friends.
So long Scooty
Goodbye my bestest friend.
Someday I WILL see you again.
Good-bye.....
My Bestest Friend.
By God's will, I may see you again.
According to the "experts"
you don't remember me
Five minutes after I drop you off.

Let me go.
Boots on the ground.
The Republic has fallen
Take your guns, take your gold
Keep from getting unwound.
Time to go.
Boots on the ground.
The Republic has fallen,
You will fit in their mold
or perhaps never be found.
Time to go.
Boots on the ground.
War is about to come
In every city and town.
Neighbors fighting neighbors
sadness will surround (us all).
Time to go .
It's time to vote.
One last time to try and save
This experiment.
This thing called Liberty.
This thing called U.S.A..
Time to go.
Boots on the ground......
Boots on the ground.
The Republic has fallen
Take your guns, take your gold
Keep from getting unwound.
Time to go.

Just Cause I'm Old
JUST A NUMBER
Just waiting for the time when I feel old.
Just waiting for the day I can't live at home.
Just waiting for the moment my life is planned to end
Being thrown into a hallway. Like I was always... Just a number.
Just waiting for a son or daughter to come
To tell me it was all a mistake.
Though I have no son. No daughter....
And I have no family to stand up for me.
Why does the State want to do this to me?.
I'm still great at Jeopardy on TV.
What will I do when that day comes soon?
With no family to stand by my side.
I'll probably just let it all go.
No "old" man deserves to be treated this way.
I'll fight the best that I know how.
If I'm not mentally, not physically bound
Then leave me alone, And let me go now.
But I'm smarter that they think and I am.
Still in good shape.Mind sharp as a whip.
And I have my right to own a gun. (just for protection)
And invading my home gives me protection, at least some.
To kill whoever attacks my space. And I won't go down
so easy this time. Even if they say there was no reason why. They know.
So Come on all you Government guys,
who decide where I spent the rest of my life.
Try to get me and your're wives will soon cry
Cause you told them I was just a simple guy.
But I KNOW how to kill.
Surprise!
I know my rights well.
I was born in these United States
Just cause I'm old don't mean you can take my rights away.
And I have done nothing wrong than being old.
I'm still smart as a whip, so you better be ready to see me "fly"
in the middle of the night.
Don't follow me, or your agents will go down one by one.
For I am NOT the number. just a number. A number you will eventually lose to in the mayhem.
I'll wear my number proud. And kill anyone who tries to take our town's liberties away.
Even if in the end, I'm just a number. Our patriots will win
in this war to make our country great (and God fearing) again.
With the politicians gone.....
But I'm just throwing out numbers. Cause it may be a longer, civil war...............
Just waiting for the time when I feel old.
Just waiting for the day I can't live at home.
Just waiting for the moment my life is planned to end
Being thrown into a hallway. Like I was always... Just a number.

Together (In Shackles)
Every husband that I know
complains of lists of his things to do.
Every wife I've ever heard
complains of things she expected to do.
Every husband that I know
complains she won't shut up long enough (to listen).
Every wife I've ever heard
complains he won't take time enough (to listen).
If either could be honest
both would agree
they aren't happy
just tied together (in shackles).
Every husband that I hear
almost admits he lives with fear.
Every wife I've ever heard
tries to lie. Her husband's a dear.
In shackles?
If either could be honest
both would agree
they aren't happy
just tied together (forever?) in shackles.
Yet they both try to forget
how much they each regret
the day that they willing put on
those shackles.
Now in bed at night,
both husband and wife
dream of nothing more
than together, being free
of those damned shackles.
complains of lists of his things to do.
Every wife I've ever heard
complains of things she expected to do.
Every husband that I know

Yourself With Me
You live just one floor down.
Your husband's no longer around.
Where he's gone, I don't care.
He's not here. Do you think
it might be OK to share
yourself with me?
Share yourself with me.
I'll give myself to you (no one to care)
If wishes came true
No more searching for intimacy. You'd have given
yourself to me.
Some nights I can hear the sounds
of you pleasing yourself. No one's around.
Who you're thinking of, I don't care.
As long as HE's not there.
Do you think it might be OK to share
yourself with me (in my fantasy)?
Just a moment of intimacy.
Share yourself with me.
I'll lay myself before you.
If dreams only came true
right now I'd be with you.
Part of you. Inside of you.
And you would be sharing
yourself with me.
And I'd be sharing myself with you.
If dreams only came true,
you would always be sharing
yourself with me.
In intimacy.
In ecstasy.... In my fantasy.
Your husband's no longer around.
Where he's gone, I don't care.
He's not here. Do you think
it might be OK to share
yourself with me?
Share yourself with me.
I'll give myself to you (no one to care)
If wishes came true
